ISDN2 is a 2 channel digital line voice and data service ideal for small business offices. You can connect up to 8 digital devices and make or receive 2 calls at once. You can also have a broadband connection on this line. A 2 channel ISDN2 circuit costs a similar amount to 2 analogue phone lines but offers higher quality and allows calls to be routed more flexibly.
We offer 2 different types of ISDN2 line;
- Digital Standard: Equivalent to BT’s ISDN2e Standard and supports Point to Multi-point working.
- Digital System: Equivalent to BT’s ISDN2e System and supports Line Hunting and Point to Point working.
Each type comes with one main telephone number and 2 channels. Digital System can have additional Channels in multiples of 2 up to a maximum of 30.
With RipComs/Heart Telecom line rental you can save 15% compared to BT for ISDN2 line rental and consolidate your calls and line rental service in one bill. You will keep your existing phone number and do not need to make any changes to your telecom equipment.

New Installations? In addition to being able to transfer over your existing lines, we can also arrange for new line installations. We work with BT to make sure you exact needs are met. A new standard ISDN2 installation with 2 channels costs £275 excluding VAT. Discounts are available for commitment to a minimum contract. Support Packages
We are passionate about customer service and ensuring we respond rapidly and effectively to your needs. Telephone support is free. Our customer service centre is based in the UK and is staffed by highly knowledgeable and helpful professionals.
Standard Care
Operates during working hours (0900-1700 hours Monday-Friday excluding Public and Bank Holidays). Heart Telecom aim to respond to a fault report received before 1700 hrs on one working day by the end of the next working day. Where a fault is reported outside normal working hours, the fault will be treated as if it has been reported at the beginning of the next working day. Work will only be carried out during working hours.
Total Care
Total Care is a chargeable service and operates 24 hours a day, 7 days per week including Bank and Public Holidays. Heart Telecom will respond within 4 hours of receipt of a fault report. If the fault is not cleared during this period Heart Telecom will advise the Nominated Contact of the progress being made to clear the fault.
Temporary Service Restoration (Call Diversion) is available, in circumstances where a fault is reported and the end-user is suffering from a total loss of service, if it is evident that Openreach will be unable to restore service within the commitment time.
